翟志扬,康奈尔大学作物土壤学和植物分子遗传学博士(2011年)。美国能源部布鲁克海文国家实验室科学家。获能源部2022年度早期职业生涯奖(DOE Early Career Award)。获布鲁克海文国家实验室2017,2018年度科技十大发现称号。现从事植物糖代谢和油脂代谢调控的研究。已经在The Plant Cell, New Phytologist, Plant Physiology, Plant Biotechnology Journal 等刊物以第一作者或通讯作者发表研究论文26篇。
报告内容简介:
Plant cell constantly gauge nutrients availability, hormones, environmental conditions etc. to decide whether to grow by synthesizing new cellular components or to survive by degrading (recycling) old cellular components, which are mediated by master sensor kinases such sucrose nonfermentation1-related kinase1(SnRK1) and target of rapamycin (TOR). Our published research and recent progress showed mechanisms in which sugar plays dual roles in the biosynthesis of lipids through SnRK1. In this presentation, I will also present my latest progress on deciphering TOR signaling by using a plant growth system that responds to high ambient temperature.
